You can contact us for children's swimming lessons and recreational swimming. Due to the extra heated water and the good accessibility, our swimming pool is extremely suitable for visitors with disabilities and the elderly.

The AGO Swimming Pool has been in existence since 1977 and is a 'barrier-free pool'. The building and pool are wheelchair accessible and the changing rooms are located next to the pool. Visitors therefore do not have to climb stairs. The changing rooms are also equipped for use by visitors with a physical disability. Special chairs and stretchers are available in our building with which visitors can be transported. There is also a passive and active hoist available. Visitors can gradually enter the bath via the ramp or lazy stairs. And those who have very difficulty walking can also enter the water with a stretcher or wheelchair.

Our bath is open at set times for visitors with a physical or mental disability. In our unique pool, visitors swim on medical advice, through a referral from a doctor or physiotherapist, as well as the elderly, residents of nursing and care homes and patients of rehabilitation clinics. Our AGO Swimming Pool Diemen thus fulfills a clear social role.
